Modis is working with a client in the Greater Cleveland area who is looking for an IT professional to fill an Information Security Specialist
job
. This person will ensure that the client's security systems are fully maintained as well as identify and resolve security network issues. This specialist should be experienced working in security IT environments and can approach issues in an analytic fashion. He/she should also be comfortable working on projects individually and able to conduct thorough research to find the best solutions to the client's security problems. This is a 6-month assignment with the possibility of moving into a permanent role.

Information Security Specialist job:

Perform security administrative duties including user access management, generate reports for monitoring and analyzing security systems, and advise users in regards to security-related issues.
Research and test new IT security applications, products, and procedures.
Manage and troubleshoot issues associated with IT security.
Create and manage documentation of security procedures and policies.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor's Degree.
Must have 3-7 years of experience in information technology.
Must be experienced working with Splunk.
Must be familiar with Sharepoint, SQL and Active Directory.
Must have strong oral and written communication skills.
Must have strong presentation skills.
