Responsibilities: The Hyperion Developer/Analyst is responsible for the analysis, design, and development of the Hyperion Planning (v11) suite. Act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to assist them in quiery tuning and training of the BI toolset from simple reporting to advanced ad hoc reporting and analytics. Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Interpret and transform information based on business requirements and provides the data for delivery. Conduct detailed research of vendor products and assists with general project management. Essential Functions Strategy & Planning Evaluate logical views, data hierarchies and reporting structures Provide alternatives and recommendations based on best practices and application functionality Gain necessary input/approval of requirements and design and participates in code reviews and may perform code review for others Understand business processes, how the application supports business processes and applies knowledge to best solve problems Develop functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing Provide assistance to the business for annual budget and forecast processes Acquisition & Deployment Employ knowledge of Essbase to facilitate better deployment of Planning, application security and other interface tools Develop, implement and maintain new cubes and process flowsOperational Management Develop solutions to leverage Hyperion Planning and suggest process improvements. Participate in user sessions for requirement and testing. Assist users with problems and resolves issues independently. Create test plans, test cases, test scripts and performs functional testing. Create and maintain system documentation. Work with existing systems to track and manage requests and issues. Provide business reports to management and clients. Incidental Functions Assist with projects as may be required to contribute to efficiency and effectiveness of the work. Attend management meetings on behalf of team. Provide training and documentation for supported applications. Up to 25% travel as required (domestic and international) Work outside the standard office 7.5 hour work day as required. Experience Required: Knowledge & Experience 2
years IT experience 2 years experience developing Hyperion Planning (v11) and Essbase Applications preferred Exposure to EAS, and OBIEE preferred Skilled in building and maintaining calc scripts, data loads, batch

, automation and scripting MaxL Understands dependencies and interrelationships between functional components of Hyperion Planning among forms, business rules, calculation scripts, variables and essbase databases Experience with optimizing business rules and calc scripts ASO and BSO Essbase application development/configuration and support Outlines, dimensions, measures, members, metadata administration with ability to design databases and complex calculations Knowledge of DRM for data integration including mapping rules and scripts with DRM Working knowledge of software development and support methodologies. Experience with Essbase Excel add in and SmartView Knowledge of financial processes and functions preferred Hyperion Financial Management and Enterprise is a plus Personal Attributes Good written and oral communications skills. Ability and initiative to learn and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly. Good systems/process orientation with good analytical thinking, organization skills and problem solving skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Education Required: Formal Education & Certification Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
