Summary:

Responsible for all treasury functions for the Company, including both short-and long-term financial activities, bank relations and cash management . Prepares the annual corporate budget. This position also has a Regional Controller responsibility, and in doing so ensures that all internal financial reporting is in compliance with the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Financial Accounting Standards Board and other regulatory authorities.

Essential Functions:

Treasurer


Monitors cash balances for all domestic and international accounts.


Ensures sufficient cash on hand for corporate expenditures.
Moves excess cash balances among accounts to ensure lowest possible debt levels or highest investment levels.
Prepares quarterly debt covenant letter.
Makes outgoing wire transfers


Prepares the annual corporate budget.
Oversees regional budgets.
PLP Stock transfer.


Reviews transaction reports (NCB).
Checks dividend data provided by NCB.
Prepares analysis of stockholder changes.
Coordinates quarterly mailing.


Analyzes general ledger accounts.


Prepares misc. journal entries and reviews financial statements.


Coordinates mailing of annual report to shareholders.


Reviews weekly cash disbursements.


Develops good banking relationships and negotiate favorable financing terms and conditions.


Advises management on investments and loans.


Maintains compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations as necessary.


Evaluates financial impact of new business ventures.

Regional Controller


Oversees a corporation's financial and accounting activities in a specific region.


Evaluates operating data, detects business trends and monitors financial statements that comply with industry practices, regulatory requirements and accounting principles.


Reviews annual plans and budget. Provides management with input and recommendations.


Prepares special reports as required by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.


Performs Company ROI calculations


Creates appropriate Financial Metrics.
Keeps the Chief Financial Officer informed of the status of the regional reporting units.


Coordinates an adequate plan for the control of regional operations. Such a plan provides profit planning, sales forecasts, expense budgets, cost standards and saving opportunities.


Performs other duties as requested or directed.

Qualifications and Requirements:


Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; plus 10
years of treasury experience. MBA preferred

Travel Requirements: 20%Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
