Pricing Analyst
As a Pricing Analyst, you will have the advantage of interacting with all areas of the business. With the use of strong math and excel skills, you will work with large spreadsheets and databases to manipulate and analyze data, execute actuarial models, and determine appropriate price levels on products by state. Working directly with our products, your recommendations will influence Progressive's ability to find the right price for the right coverage for our customers.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, Economics, Statistics or equivalent
Demonstrated knowledge of math, statistics, probability and/or principles of finance
Basic MS Office skills
Demonstrated skills in Excel, including the ability to create, manipulate and formulate spreadsheets
Understanding of database concepts
Ability to learn or basic knowledge of programming languages, statistical software and reporting tools (such as SAS, SQL)
Attention to detail
Good communication skills, both verbal or written
Ability to learn and adapt quickly
