Systems Analyst
Intermediate level position, acts independently or under general direction. Analyzes procedures and problems within manual/automated health care systems; reports findings and when applicable recommends options for resolutions. Formulates system scope and objectives. Confers with professional staff to ascertain specific requirements and assists in the completion of programming specifications. Upholds the standards of the system-wide customer service program.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in health care administration, sciences, medical communications, statistics, mathematics, accounting, computer sciences or 3-5 years experience using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility in lieu of degree. Training in systems analysis with special emphasis in project management, data processing standards, supervisory techniques, user relations, data gathering techniques, written and oral communications, and management information systems relative to the assigned area(s) of responsibility (ie financial applications, patient care applications, etc.) General knowledge of main-frame, mini and micro computer hardware. Minimum of 3-5 years work experience in a health care environment using or installing systems relative to the assigned area of responsibility. Experience in project planning and procedural analysis.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
