4K a year Production Supervisor Lead team members and operate various manufacturing equipment in a wax production environment on 3rd shift.
Primary Responsibilities Lead and direct hourly team members in the safe operation of various manufacturing equipment including mixing tanks, pumps, scales, melt boxes and other equipment as necessary.
Completes wax production batch sheets according to work instructions.
Ability to train new production operators in wax manufacturing processes.
Operate Pastillator belt and package finished products.
Follow and direct team members to follow all established company and corporate policies, procedures, and governmental regulations pertaining to employee safety, environmental issues, and quality standards.
Teach and perform 5S housekeeping during and at the end of each shift for assigned areas.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience High School Diploma or equivalent certificate required.
College degree in science field is preferred.
Personal integrity and ability to conduct themselves and their job responsibilities in an ethical and non-discriminatory manner.
Demonstrate consistent attendance and work ethic.
Determination and assertiveness to accomplish goals and objectives.
Strong communication skills.
Able to communicate with all levels of personnel and all departments in the plant.
Able to read, understand and follow work instructions, batch sheets and other written instructions.
Ability to perform basic math functions.
Able to perform physical aspects of manufacturing duties such as using hand tools, lifting, bending, and climbing stairs.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
