We are seeking individuals with an entrepreneurial energy and commitment to client service to join our team.
We are interested in talking with candidates with public accounting experience to work in our Assurance department, at the Senior Accountant level.
This position would fall in our Registered Funds vertical.

Leads ancillary client/billable tasks, ensuring client support throughout the year, leading efficiency opportunities, and if desired, with opportunity to transition to managing client work based on performance
Assists with multiple clients and engagements, including leading preparation of board materials, semi-annual reviews, registration statement updates, analytical reviews, custody exams, etc.

Strong partnership with engagement teams to ensure leading ancillary tasks and proactively asking the team questions to stay on task
Supports core audit functions and additional responsibilities/projects as requested
Client expectations:
Approximately 40% of time dedicated to working on specific client engagements monthly, 60% of time dedicated to ancillary task management
Teamwork expectations:
Strong communication, with opportunity for people management and reviewing work; approximately 70% of time working in team environment, 30% of time working independently
Experience working on investment-based clients (mutual funds, hedge funds, fund of funds, etc.
) preferred
Open to experience focused in clients outside of the industries listed above, but must have an appetite to learn more about investment-based clients
Strong external and internal communication required, due to client facing role and importance of strong partnership with internal engagement teams
Understanding of Outlook, Excel, Word, Adobe, etc.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
