17 an hour We are a community-based financial institution currently seeking the right candidate to join our team, to fill an opening we have for a full-time Loan Processing/Security Clerk.
This position would be to ensure the complete and thorough processing of all credit/loan related documents prepared by the lending staff.
Appropriately and accurately track all security for such loans and monitor timely filing of liens and receipt of all necessary related documentation.
Act as primary point of contact for the process of tracking insurance for collateralized loans.
Provide support to members and staff for the Credit Life and Disability products offered by the credit union.
Complete daily and monthly reports as assigned.

Responsibilities:
Loan processing:
Ensure thoroughness and accuracy of all loan documentation, process loan documents, and disburse proceeds as applicable.
Security:
Prepare and process the filing and release of mortgage liens and chattel mortgage, track all titles and security interest as necessary, follow up by letter and/or phone for outstanding securities on all loans.
Collateral Protection (CPI):
Serve as liaison to vendor who provides Collateral Protection Insurance to Credit Union, monitor status of all insurance/force placed insurance, assist members as necessary with CPI questions/problems Credit Life and Disability:
Serve as liaison to vendor who provides Credit Life and Disability protection to Credit Union, initiate claims for members, and assist members as necessary.
Miscellaneous:
Complete daily reports as assigned.
Assist Collections Supervisor/Department as necessary.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
Work involves contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding important matters which typically require discussion and/or follow-up.
Job Requirements:
Two years to five years of similar or related experience.
A high school education or GED.
Attention to detail and superior organizational skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
