Security Officer Duties:
- Patrol and monitor premises regularly to maintain a safe and secure environment - Protect property against theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities - Enforce rules and regulations to ensure compliance with company policies - Respond to alarms and emergency situations promptly and appropriately - Conduct investigations and write detailed incident reports as necessary - Monitor surveillance cameras and CCTV systems to detect any suspicious activities - Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in law enforcement, loss prevention, or a related field is preferred - Must possess strong conflict management skills to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally - CPR certification and first aid training are highly desirable - Ability to operate surveillance equipment effectively - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong attention to detail and observation skills
