30 AM - 3:
00 PM) Position is responsible for building crates/boxes to ship industrial conveyors in our shipping department.
Must be comfortable with hand tools (nail guns, staple guns), forklift, and crane operations.
Summary:
Perform duties required to measure and construct crates, skids and boxes for conveyer equipment and part shipments.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING.
OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:
Work from verbal and written instructions.
Measure conveyers and parts to calculate size requirements and construct crates, skids and boxes for shipment of equipment and parts.
Move crates, boxes and skids of large conveyer products in the shipping and receiving area.
Use forklift equipment and floor controlled overhead crane equipment as necessary to move parts and materials; use care to lift and balance loads properly; operate equipment in a safe manner.
Exercise proper care in the use of tools, equipment and materials.
Nail gun and Staple gun usage.
Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations and unusual conditions to supervision.
Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations.
Maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition.

EDUCATION/
Experience:
3 to 12 months of previous qualifying experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in a manufacturing environment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
