Position Overview
This position will be responsible for upgrading/installing/troubleshooting desktop and laptop computers in an enterprise environment. The upgrade process will include changing over IP addresses from one domain to another. The technician will also be installing software applications and configuring unique user settings and testing. Technicians will be required to work on several systems at one time, follow specific instructions, and posses the ability to work individually or in a team environment. Maintaining a high degree of professionalism. A passion for customer service is critical for this role.
Responsibilities
Responsible for upgrading systems.
Responsible to complete a checklist for each systems that contains the tasks and QA requirements.
Responsible for customer satisfaction.
Responsible for submitting a weekly timesheet.
Success is defined as:
systems are configured and all data files transferred, and all software installed.
Minimum productivity requirements are met (as determined by customer/supervisor).
Maintain high-level of customer satisfaction on site.
Maintain a high-level of accuracy.
Qualifications
Strong technical skills using Windows 10 a must have, additional OS experience is a plus.
Strong technical problem solving skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
Professional appearance.
Physical Requirements
Performing physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials in completing work related tasks.
The ability to express and receive information and ideas in writing and/or verbally so others will all parties understand the requirements, options, and solutions.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
