The Talent Acquisition Lead partners with the business to ensure Materion attracts, engages, selects and acquires exceptional talent. Through strong relationships and in-depth knowledge of the internal and external conditions influencing Materion and talent pools, the incumbent applies expert skills to select and deploy recruitment methods to build top-level talent pools and candidate slates. As a talent advisor, the TA Lead coaches hiring managers and interview teams through the requisition process. Additionally, as a member of the Talent Acquisition CoE, the TA Lead engages in projects as a project lead or team member to sustain Talent Acquisition best practices across Materion. You Will Have the Opportunity to:
Support the needs of designated client groups with full-cycle recruitment:
requisition creation, approval, intake & planning, calibration, sourcing, screening, interview planning & execution, selection, assessment, offer management, coordination of onboarding. Cultivate candidate pools by deploying innovative sourcing strategies to identify and attract exceptional talent across a wide range of roles. Continuously build networks to identify and qualify high quality, passive candidates. Foster and contribute to building Materion's early career and diversity talent pipelines and programs. Be a trusted mentor and coach to Managers. Coach, counsel and help continuously develop the ability of Materion's managers to assess and select top quality talent. Monitor data integrity / metrics and foster continuous improvement in TA operations, including analyzing and reporting on recruiting analytics for key client groups. Continually seek to improve Materion's Employment Brand in the marketplace, partnering with Employee Communications with planning, developing and deploying content to promote career opportunities with Materion across multiple venues, including Social Media channels. Assist in developing new programs that build recruiting capability, which may include leading projects/project work streams or serving as team member of a project team. Contribute to Materion HR projects and initiatives, as needed. Provide job coaching and guidance to field HR colleagues regarding TA best practices. Other tasks as required. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree Minimum of 5 years of professional-level corporate recruiting experience, with proven experience recruiting for a wide range of roles Minimum of 5 years of experience sourcing passive candidates for niche roles Professional recruitment certifications, e.g. AIRS, Social Talent, Targeted Selection preferred Recruiting experience within a global organization for highly competitive skillsets (i.e. IT, engineering, finance) preferred
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
HR Recruitment & PlacementEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
