Credit Analyst
Quick Apply Full-time 2 hours ago Full Job Description Position Summary This position is responsible for follow up and collection of outstanding accounts receivable for defined group of TIMET domestic accounts.
This position follows up on the outstanding accounts, verifies credit references and performs account analysis to resolve payment discrepancies.
Essential Functions Account Analysis of outstanding Accounts Receivable daily.
Assist with daily Cash application and reconciliation of incoming payments.
Assist with risk analysis in order to determine Credit line and risk category.
Order approvals -review accounts as needed to determine and approve shipments.
Contacts customers as needed for past due invoices.
Contacts customers to request payment.
Sets up account on Outlook for follow up.
Files all information about the account.
Checks the pay schedule weekly for future follow up.
Verifies customer credit report with credit references and Dunn & Bradstreet references.
Prepares credit correspondence to obtain credit references or notify customers of delinquent account items.
Problem Troubleshooting - performed as needed.
Research problems with accounts receivable and follows up to resolve.
Verifies through various computer screens returns; credits; checks that material is in inventory.
Works closely with Sales and Accounting to resolve customer issues.
Other duties as assigned and/or developed.
Desired Characteristics Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to work independently, or in a group setting, on assigned projects.
Effective written and verbal communication skills SAP knowledge Microsoft Office experience Education & Experience Associate degree preferred.
