Cleveland, OH Cleveland, OH Full-time Full-time $15 an hour $15 an hour 1 hour ago 1 hour ago 1 hour ago Javitch Block LLC is looking for fulltime Skip Trace and Garnishment Analysts who will work in a small call center type environment handling inbound and outbound calls to verify debtor employment.
This is an onsite position in our Cleveland, OH office with regular business hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday.
Responsibilities Determining the best method for recovery by skip tracing and locating debtors - determining employment, earnings, liabilities, assets, and ability to pay Reviewing delinquent accounts considered to be uncollectable and ensuring all efforts have been taken before elevating to next step Following up to ensure execution of garnishments Complying with all client specific requirements Performing with a high level of professionalism and integrity Requirements:
2 plus years of experience as a collector, preferably consumer collections Understanding of garnishments, bank attachments, certified judgments, and liens Strong understanding of the legal process as it relates to collections Strong attention to detail, ability to comply with company and departments procedures Ability to work in cooperative and positive manner with co-workers High school diploma or equivalent required Javitch Block offers a comprehensive benefits program including health insurance, life insurance, short and long-term disability, paid vacataion/sick time, and 401(k) with company match.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
