You must be detail oriented, have very good eyesight and excellent eye/hand coordination to be able to handle small parts.
You must pass a drug test before hiring.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager as required.
Ability to read and understand all geometry on manufacturing blueprints.
Read blueprints and instructions to comprehend the quality expectations for the product.
Utilize the basic principles of quality control and the principle charts used in process inspection.
Complete first-piece inspection requirements, floor to bench and last-piece inspection.
Use of various inspection equipment including:
manual calipers, manual micrometers, height gage, snap gage, comparator, scales, jo blocks, V blocks, etc.
Strong math skills.
Understanding of SPC, PPAP and ISO.
Preform internal calibrations.
REQUIREMENTS:
Familiarity with quality testing machines and systems and measuring equipment (indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
) High School degree and additional qualifications will be a plus.
2 years minimal experience in a manufacturing quality inspection setting.
Drug testing.
Experience in geometric dimensioning, metrics and tolerances.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow written work instructions.
