Required Skills & Experience ? High School Diploma or GED preferred ? General mechanical knowledge and ability ? Basic computer and math skills ? Ability to use basic measuring equipment ? Prior manufacturing experience a plus Competencies (5-10 Critical Areas of Understanding/Practice for the role) ? Basic mathematical understanding and ability (add, subtract, divide units of measurement) ? Ability to follow basic work instructions ? Good communication skills - verbal and interpersonal ? Basic computer knowledge and ability to find information and enter data ? Good problem-solving skills While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.
The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
