Technical Business Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Business Systems Analyst for one of our largest clients in Cleveland, OH.
This candidate will be joining the API team, and they will be working closely with the development team and business managers, responsible for developing functional requirements, testing, training, and implementations of applications.
They will be required to run requirement gathering sessions and coordinate with end users in underwriting, product management, claims and operations to determine requirements for system development or revision.
As a part of the API team, this individual will be responsible for building APIs from scratch and translating data into API endpoints.
The Business Systems Analyst should have experience working heavily with developers along with the ability to translate technical requirements back to the business teams if need be.
The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and should have strong intellectual curiosity.
Visio or Visual Studio experience Azure DevOps or Jira experience Gherkin experience Commercial or casualty insurance or financial industry experience 3-5
years of professional business analysis experience Experience gathering, writing and translating requirements Full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) experience/familiarity Strong experience building out APIs and the ability to translate data into API endpoints SQL experience/familiarity Experience with workflows, process flows, cross-functional flows Heavy experience working with developers and translating both functional & technical requirements Experience writing user stories Strong intellectual curiosity Recommended Skills Api Attention To Detail Business Analysis Business Systems Casualty Insurance Claim Processing Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
