Information Technology Specialist (P-T), Northeast Ohio

Are you interested in Making a Difference in the Lives of Local Youth? Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio (BGCNEO) has an immediate opening for a part-time, Information Technology (IT) Specialist.
The IT Specialist manages and administers the organization's technology infrastructure including the identification, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.
Working under the direction of the Director of Club Support Services, the Information Technology Specialist provides ongoing support for the organization's local area network (LAN), interfaces with Club systems, provides ongoing support to organizational users and sets up new computers for members and staff.

The starting pay rate is $ 17 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Provides Leadership and Direction to Information Technology Strategic Planning Initiatives Works with Technology Committee on all Club related volunteer, staff, and program related matters Develops Information Technology systems and services and manages use Monitors performance of Information Technology systems Develop strategic alliances and collaborative partnerships Ensure Information Technology expenditures are controlled within budget Institute Administrative and Operational Systems Helps manage Technology related vendors in relationship to systems, processes, and programs Skills and Requirements:
Four-year college degree in computer science or related degree preferred.
Microsoft network certification or equivalent required.
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in information systems management, including Local Area Network administration and wide area networking.
Current knowledge of best practices related to technology infrastructures.
Fundamental knowledge of project management.
Current knowledge of best practices related to technology infrastructures.
Fundamental knowledge of project management.
Recommended Skills Administration Information Systems Information Technology Infrastructure Management Leadership Local Area Networks Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
