Job Description:
SUMMARY Directs and managesCollege-wide prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardshipand management program to build relationships with external partners and securefunding support within a fast-paced team and project-oriented resourcedevelopment office.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Plans, manages and executes a strategy to increase philanthropic investments and serves as a liaison between the College and external funding partners, in collaboration with the Vice President and Executive Director.
Manages a portfolio of major gift donors and builds strong relationships with external partners through discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship cycle annually.
Works with members of the College community to develop grant and gift requests with a focus on six-figure and above gifts that include but are not limited to Foundations, Corporations and Individuals.
Supports the resource development writing team with developing, writing, editing, and compiling the final proposals for external partners.
Uses donor management system, Raiser's Edge, to manage prospects, donor contacts, and gifts in accordance with the resource development team guidelines and requirements.
Works with grant management staff, grant accountants and project directors to ensure the timely delivery of project outcomes and assists with completion and submission of reports to grantors and donors.
Represents the College and Foundation at external meetings and leads preparation for donor engagement opportunities, meetings and site visits.
Works on projects and presentations for the College and Foundation and develops communication and meeting materials regarding College and Foundation initiatives.
Performs other dutiesas assigned.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
