QA Engineer


Responsibilities:
Comply with all the Anchor Principles and Guidelines, as well as Anchor policies and procedures.
Spend 40% of time on Product and Process audits, internal audits, implement corrective actions, and maintain the quality standards.
Participate in APQP with project team members.
Develop and implement control plans and inspection methods of manufactured parts and assemblies.
Assess process quality checks for over or under inspection Assist production through training and demonstration of applicable quality procedures, while representing the customer viewpoint.
Facilitate problem solving in a manufacturing environment.
Initiate corrective actions in a team environment.
Develop and implement SPC plans and analyze data for trends and process capabilities.
Interface with customers solving quality issues and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
Consult with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel on measurement techniques.
Conduct process and product audits and report to the Quality Manager problems and possible solutions.
Execute special projects and duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
Ensure that all equipment is safe to operate.
Qualifications:
Four year technical degree in industrial, mechanical or quality engineering, or 2 years quality experience.
Computer literate Able to read and understand automotive drawings Good oral and written communicator Must be punctual and willing to work flexible schedules, if required Familiar with systems and product audit techniques Helpful if familiar with:
1) Automotive PPAP, APQP, SPC, PFMEA (Core Tools) requirements2) Inspection gage/tool design and certification techniques3) IATF 16949 (ISO 16949) Quality System requirementsAny additional knowledge or training will be evaluated and determined by the Supervisor if qualifications above are not met.
