Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Medical Technologist Shift:
Nights/ 9p-7:
30a, 10x4, 40 hrs per week, M-F, EOW, Alternate WeekendsLength:
13 Weeks Requirements:
Minimum 1 year Level 1 Trauma Center and Academic Facility experience Minimum 2 years blood bank experience Bachelor's degree Automated Gel Testing and manual gel and tube testing skills Blood component modifications:
aliquoting, washing, irradiation skills Specimen evaluation and receipt skills Blood gases skills BLS Must be ASCP Certified MLT or MLS Must have completed 1 travel assignment BB or SBB certification preferred Wellsky and Ortho Vision systems preferred Ohio -No LicenseASCP certification required3rd shift, 4x10 M - F with alternate weekends.
MUST HAVE COMPLETED 1 TRAVEL ASSINGMENTMinimum 1 year of experience in Level 1 Trauma Center and Academic FacilityMinimum 2 years experience in a blood bankBachelor's degree requiredMust be ASCP Certified MLT or MLS (BB or SBB certification preferred)Experience with Wellsky and Ortho Vision systems is preferredWill need to be available to train on days the 1st week.
Every other weekend requirementSkills needed to perform in all areas of the blood bank:
- Automated Gel Testing and manual gel and tube testing- Blood component modifications:
aliquoting, washing, irradiation-Specimen evaluation and receipt-Customer service (answering phone calls and picking up windows)-Blood gasesOthers:
