Today, CENTERS provides management services for 14 clients.
Primary
Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform primary and administrative responsibilities satisfactorily.

Greet all members and guests who enter the facility, ensuring proper identification is used.

Communicate and enforce all policies and procedures to patrons in regards to access control, sales, and registrations.

Be knowledgeable about programs and services offered by University of Recreation & Wellbeing in order to communicate all policies and procedures to patrons and guests and answer questions they may have about our facility, memberships, or programs and services.

Provide tours to current and prospective members of the Recreation Center.

Continually monitor and maintain cleanliness of entire facility, including, but not limited to, lobby, fitness spaces, equipment, locker rooms, and restrooms.

Understand and demonstrate competencies in department Emergency Action Plan.

Ensure facility laundry is completed throughout the day.

Keep a clean and presentable workspace.

Represent University of Recreation & Wellbeing at all times.

Assist the Operations Supervisor/Professional Staff with tasks as requested.

Other duties as assigned.
Financial:

Ability to handle and count money while reconciling money drawer.

Take payments for guest passes and single-use towel services.
Equipment Issue:

Reserve racquetball and squash courts for patrons.

Issue equipment through Rec Automation
Complete inventory checklists and communicate to the supervisor when equipment is not returned.
Administrative
Responsibilities:

Attend staff meetings and trainings hosted by University of Recreation & Wellbeing.

File all forms in the appropriate areas at the end of each shift.

Check email on a regular basis for communication amongst Operations staff.

Monitor the intranet for announcements and resolution of issues affecting Operations staff.

Maintain lost and found database documenting items found within the Recreation Center and inquiries from patrons regarding lost items.

Other duties as assigned.

Must be actively seeking a degree at Cleveland State University
Ability and willingness to enforce policies and handle conflict.

Strong customer service skills and basic knowledge of computer skills.

Ability to handle several tasks at once with frequent interruption.

Ability to be certified as a CPR/AED/FA Professional Rescuer through the American Red Cross.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
