- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing - Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards - Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas - Vacuum carpets and rugs - Empty and clean trash containers - Launder and iron clothes and linens - Make beds and change sheets as required - Stock and maintain cleaning supplies - Notify management of any repairs or maintenance needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a house cleaner or in a similar role - Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies - Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning - Excellent time management skills - Customer service-oriented with good communication skills - High school diploma or equivalent Skills:
- Housekeeping management:
Ability to manage cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Custodial:
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques for different surfaces.
- Clean:
Ability to maintain cleanliness and tidiness in various areas.
- Launder:
Experience in washing, drying, and folding clothes and linens.
- Residential cleaning:
Familiarity with cleaning homes and apartments.
- Commercial cleaning:
Understanding of cleaning procedures for office buildings or commercial spaces.
- Cook:
Basic cooking skills for meal preparation if required.
- Customer service:
Ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Sanitate:
Knowledge of proper sanitation practices.
- Hotel:
Experience in hotel housekeeping operations.
