The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the shipping and receiving of finished goods and for making sure orders are accurately picked and shipped within the timeframes requested.
Essential Job Functions:
1.
Assists with maintaining shipping procedures for incoming and outgoing orders to ensure a high level of quality in accuracy and high levels of order fulfillment.
2.
Familiar with retail shipping processes such as Amazon, Wal-Mart, Home Depot and other like entities.
3.
Must be detail oriented and pick and pack operations must be efficient.
4.
Works with receiving and inspection procedures for inbound materials.
5.
Ensures effective order acknowledgement and shipping process geared towards high-value customers.
6.
Understands dangerous goods shipping requirements.
7.
Helps to manage retail routing procedures, such as routing portals and ASN processes.
8.
Responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and orderly department.
9.
Maintains detailed records and prepares communications and reports as needed.
10.
Follows all safety guidelines and adheres to all daily housekeeping initiatives.
11.
Interacts professionally on a regular basis with peers, managers and vendors.
12.
Assumes additional responsibilities and performs special projects as needed or directed.
Required
Qualifications:
Education, Training, and/or
Experience:
1.
High school diploma or GED.
2.
A minimum of 1-3 years of shipping/logistics operational experience in an increasingly expanded role.
Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:
1.
Proven experience with UPS worldship and Fed Ex small packages.
2.
Exposure to LTL shipments, standard packaging, and BOLs.
3.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the use of the internet.
4.
Highly detailed oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities.
5.
Ability to read, write, and interpret reports and business correspondence for a diverse audience.
6.
Ability to organize work, multi-task, and consistently meet deadlines.
7.
High degree of initiative and independent judgment.
8.
Ability to express self effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
9.
Ability to demonstrate a high attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
10.
Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-focused.
11.
Ability to tactfully and effectively interact with peers, visitors, and staff in a personable and professional manner.

Certification, Licenses, Registrations Tow Motor Certification Preferred
Qualifications:
First Aid, AED & CPR Certified, Hazmat Training Physical Demands:
Nature of work requires an ability to operate in a standard warehousing environment.
Requires ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set up and maintain work files.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
