The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a smooth flow of operations at the front desk, providing excellent customer service, and performing routine administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
- Answering and directing phone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
- Scheduling appointments and managing patient records using our computer system.
- Collecting insurance information and verifying patient insurance coverage.
- Collecting and processing payments, including co-pays, co-insurances, and self-pays.
- Maintaining an orderly and organized front office workspace.
- Ensuring that patients have completed intake paperwork prior to scheduled appointments.
- Performing other administrative duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and colleagues effectively.
- Proficient in computer skills, including the ability to multitask in multiple computer programs each day, navigate emails, fax documents, and scan documents.
- Excellent phone skills and the ability to handle a high volume of calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and files.
