And if that's you we would love to have you join us!Job DescriptionThe Director of Strategic Sourcing (Commodities) owns the strategic sourcing process for electronics components and will develop and execute a global sourcing strategy that builds the capabilities needed for long-term growth and sustainability.
This position develops, maintains, and leverages long-term key relationships with suppliers, while driving profitability and growth through a high focus on cost, quality, and capacity.
The Director will own all aspects of strategic sourcing in collaboration with various business leaders.
Responsibilities include manufacturing partner selection, risk assessment, securing capacity to support current and future growth, cost and contract negotiations, quality assurance, and relationship management.
Your leadership will accelerate projects that enable agility while ensuring we deliver our organizational goals.
This role reports to the Chief Procurement Officer.
What you will do:
Lead $1B of spend with over 400 suppliers with focus on electronics components, manufactured components and contract manufactured products.
Create sourcing strategies that align with company business objectives and product roadmap, including leading or participating in supplier selection, capability assessments, quality improvement, and supplier readiness.
Development of supplier relationships and securing favorable sourcing agreements.
Identify and drive resolution of issues related to supplier performance and relationships.
Lead a high performing team directly responsible for sourcing, evaluating, qualifying, and managing continuous improvement of all supply partners.
Ensure efficient operations and execution of our supplier strategy and manage a team that constantly works to monitor and improve existing supplier performance and productivity, with the ability to scale and support continued growth.
Negotiate Master Supply Agreements to balance achieving high value, high service, and high quality, while ensuring that sourcing meets all legal and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular Supplier Partner reviews seeking innovation as well as improvements in quality and productivity.

International business experience working globally across cultures and time zones.
Domestic and International travel up to 30%Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Sourcing, Supply Chain, or related fieldLegal authorization to work in the U.
S.
is required.

Analytical and technical and can synthesize data.
Adept at integrating multiple perspectives on complex topics to drive to a recommendation.
Broad management experience.
Possess extensive experience working with a range of stakeholders to include 3rd party vendors / suppliers / customers.
MBA preferred.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
