Vulnerability Management Engineer

Job Description Assist with identification of asset owners in order to get assets with vulnerabilities patched and remediated for known vulnerabilities.
Certain assets within Progressive don't have a clear individual owner so they need to be tracked down and the work assigned them.
Assets are in CMDB.
May use Flexera asset management tool as well.
If we are able to get a more technical resource, then the work would be working with our scanning tools, Splunk, and other platforms to help with managing our backlog of vulnerabilities.
Technical skills 1.
Familiar with Remedy CMDB 2.
Experience with IT tools 3.
Good communication skills - clear thinker and efficient communicator (written and verbal) 4.
Understanding of vulnerabilities and remediation (in a broad sense) Technical:

Experience working with vulnerability scanning/management tools (e.
g.
CrowdStrike Falcon, Tenable, Rapid7, Qualys, etc.
).

Experience in server and client operating systems.
4.
Proficiency in working with a variety of operating systems including Mac, Windows, Linux, and other Unix-like variants.
5.
Experience in Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and OpenStack.
6.
Familiarity with asset management tools such as BMC Remedy CMDB or Service Now.
7.
Experience working in Splunk Recommended Skills Amazon Web Services Asset Management Communication Critical Thinking Linux Macintosh Computers Apply to this job.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
