Job Description:

SUMMARY
Develops and implements a comprehensivedonor relations and engagement program to promote interaction and engagementwith the community and appropriate donor recognition including developingoutreach activities and events.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Promotes donor interaction and engagement through the successful development, implementation, and facilitation of a comprehensive donor relations and engagement program
  • Designs event and all donor stewardship printed materials
  • Completes all necessary pre-event confirmations and communications
  • Develops, distributes, and responds to event-related communications
  • Coordinates internal and external services and vendor relationships to effectively accommodate event needs
  • Facilitates the successful coordinator and execution of events
  • Reviews event photo images for selection and archival, and manages follow-up communications as needed
  • Assists in the development of communications materials that shares Tri-C story and ensures consistent messaging in all collateral
  • Engages with students throughout the year and engages students with donors at a variety of events
  • Develops and implements events and recognition opportunities to promote, donor stewardship and outreach
  • Tracks donor stewardship and engagement, utilizing the College's donor management/fundraising software (Raiser's Edge system)
  • Oversees recognition and cultivation events to maximize additional stewardship opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/TRAINING
  • Bachelor's Degree in Event Planning, Marketing, or a related field
    • Significant related experience may substitute for education
  • Three to five years of demonstrated event planning and event management experience in a donor-focused environment
  • Demonstrated experience making sound decisions that affect a work unit or team
  • Demonstrated experience in a role requiring diverse problem solving methods in a variety of situations

  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of event planning concepts theories, concepts and practices with the ability to use in complex, difficult and/or unprecedented situations as it pertains to the departmental focus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
