Senior human resource manager

Responsibilities
Provide direct
services
in a number of Human Resources areas and will be the organization's link to Corporate HR departments and resources in specialty areas.
Interface with senior level management in assuring the delivery of all Human Resources initiatives for a specific function or group (R&D, Sales, etc.).
Advise leadership on all Human Resources issues and initiatives impacting the organization's business goals and objectives.
Act as coach to managers on employee performance, employee relations issues and other people management programs.
Develop and manage talent acquisition/ retention programs and work force planning initiatives and facilitates the business unit succession planning processes.
Ensure compensation and benefits programs are in place and managed to support established goals and objectives.
Lead the development of organizational assessment initiatives to ensure effective structure and processes are in place.
Supply leadership to establish a team-based culture with emphasis on ensuring diversity.
Guarantee performance metrics and performance evaluation processes are in place and managed to tie individual and team performance to established goals and objectives.
Comply with all employment laws/regulations.

Requirements
BA/BS in Human Resource Management or related area. Advanced degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field a plus.
8+ years of progressive experience working as a generalist and business partner.
Experience working in a corporate, division of sales office location of a manufacturing company.
Demonstrated experience in performance management, employee relations, recruiting and succession planning.
Experience in Organizational Development and/or Learning and Development, a plus.
Expert at coaching both managers and employees.
Experience with job evaluations, preparation of job descriptions, and analyzing/managing HRIS data.
Understanding of employment law and diversity/EEOC compliance and promotion.
Familiarity with compensation and benefit programs.
Proven experience as HR Business Partner with a history of working with senior leaders (at Director and Sr. Manager Level or above).
Outstanding ability to develop and maintain relationships.
Strongly interest in people and the business, within the context of providing direction and leadership that supports the Company's mission & business strategy.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
