Will be a member of team of developer that are responsible for both the enhancement and maintenance of Java/J2EE-based Internet and Intranet business related applications. Applications cover various business disciplines such B2B, manufacturing, sales, order processing, content management and package solutions. This individual will be required to be a hands-on developer that can work independently on assignment and work effectively with follow team members and business users.
SPECIFIC APPLICATIONS OR TECHNOLOGIES SERVICED:
Expected to deliver technical solutions to solve issues needing to be addressed for the business area by utilizing IBM WebSphere and JBoss Technologies. Participating in both the design and implementation on both new and existing custom development efforts, packaged product implementations and system integrations.
Candidate is required to have 3-5 years of hands-on experience with:
Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Object Oriented Programming, J2EE/Java/JSP/Servlet/GWT/AJAX Application Development, experienced with Eclipse IDE development environment. Must have experience and an understanding of how to implement applications using Model-View-Presenter (MVP) with GWT, Model View and Controller (MVC) utilizing the Struts framework, and must have a working knowledge of the Hibernate technology for persistence management. The candidate must also be able to demonstrate competence with UML (Use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams and class diagrams) along with having working knowledge of both Waterfall and AGILE software development lifecycle approaches. The candidate will be expected to communicate with technical staff and various business clients to aide in the gathering of new requirements and to identify root cause of application issues.
Future efforts will also likely involve the implementation, integration and maintenance of packaged products beyond the support of custom solutions, so the candidate must have good general technical engineering skills, great communication skills, strong technical aptitude, and a desire for such flexibility.
Ideal candidate will possess the Sun Certified Developer certification and one of the advanced Sun certifications. (Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer, Sun Certified Developer for Java Web

Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, demonstrated leadership capability, self-motivating, sound ability in determining root cause and outstanding work ethic.
