Job Description :
Responsible for growing the overall Parker sales within a specified market. Will develop and execute target market growth plans and coordinate business development activities across operating groups, divisions and geographies. Will drive PFEC and cross selling plans across all Parker sales teams within the target market segment.

Essential Functions:
The MDM will be involved in all aspects of the commercial process including:
- Development of Parker level growth strategies for a specified market
- Conduct Winmap projects specific to target markets to develop NPD and system strategies
- Identify key unmet market needs and corresponding market action plans
- Technology & acquisition input
- Identification of key prospects and accounts
- Development of plan for every customer (PFEC) for target account cross selling
- Establish plans to duplicate successes across geographic boundaries
- Develop "8 point plans" for a specified market
- Establish and maintain Parker level market based opportunity pipeline
- Joint sales calls with various Parker teams
- Coordination of proposals and quotes for cross division / group projects
- Sales data management, analysis and forecasting
Marketing / Business Development:
- Establish global Parker network of sales, engineering, marketing contacts to grow business
- Develop and communicate Parker value propositions for key applications in a specified market
- Develop promo and brand building materials / Lead generation and lead qualification processes
- Reporting progress / presentations to senior management
- Industry networking and coordination of market

- Development and management of budget
- Coordinate internal Parker events for cross training across technologies and groups
- Coordinate internal Parker technology roadmap for Parker (with group VPs of technology)
- Maintain internal EIS tagging and tracking
Job Requirements :
Bachelors degree (engineering or technical field a plus)
MBA or other Masters degree a plus
Life science market / application experience
Strong influencing, diplomacy, negotiation and communication skills
Business acumen / able to interface at all levels in organization
Strategic thinker who can execute action plans
Proven commercial skills coupled with technical aptitude
Project management, planning, analysis and coordination skills
Drive business results and manage multiple priorities
Travel at least 50%.
