Position Summary
The position is responsible for the designing of low power analog and digital circuits for battery powered equipment. It also serves as a liaison between Company and Outside Regulatory Agencies and Outside PCB Houses.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties and Responsibilities
1. Design of low power analog and digital circuits for battery powered equipment
2. Responsible for setting up all new electronic component part numbers into new part number system
3. Function as liaison between Company and Outside Regulatory Agencies. Preparing documentation packages and submitting projects for approval.
4. Function as liaison between Company and outside PCB house. Responsible for managing the proper lay out of electronic PCB assemblies. The creation of PCB Assembly drawings for production
5. Managing vendors on creation of custom products
6. Intrinsic Safety Design experience (UL60079-11 or EN60079-11).
Other Duties
1. Writing purchase requisitions to obtain needed components and materials for RD Development, Prototyping and/or Pilot runs
2. Building and prototyping your own circuits
3. Participating in weekly staff meeting, design reviews and impromptu meetings
4. Multitasking because there are always various projects
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree. Must have at least 10 years experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

OrCAD, PSpiceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
