SAP PI Integration Developer

Our client currently has a need for a contract to hire candidate to fill an opening for a SAP PI Integration Developer. Looking for 5
years of experience. Needs solid verbal and written communication skills. Must be US Citizen or have a Green Card/EAD
Defines, implements, supports, and optimizes integration between various applications. Applications include SAP, ADP, MRI, and others using integration tools such as SAP Process Integration (PI), ABAP, and other application integration tools. Communicates and coordinates with strategic business units (SBUs), Information Technology (IT) management, and other key stakeholders. Analyzes information requirements and designs/maintains integration to support enterprise process requirements.
Essential Job Functions
1. Gathers and drives stakeholder requirements, product vision, and continuous improvement through planning, analysis, engineering, and testing. (70%)
a. Coordinates efforts with the Solution Architects and Key Business Stakeholders to identify business and data requirements
b. Researches best practices in areas specific to integration using SAP PI, ABAP, and related technologies; promotes and embeds enterprise-wide best practice and innovation through enabling SAP and related technologies.
c. Defines scope of future enhancements; prioritizes and manages coordination of the test plan with Quality Assurance, and facilitates development of test scripts.
d. Maintains enterprise technologies expertise through evaluation of new software, interaction with consultants/user groups, review of business/technical literature, and/or attendance at seminars/training.
e. Leads and/or supports key projects and initiatives by managing internal and external project resources assigned to specific project areas.
f. Coordinates project tasks and provides updates to Project Management Office as requested.
2. Provides system maintenance and production support services. (30%)
a. Supports existing production integration scenarios
b. Coordinates test plans and supervises business-user testing to ensure proper execution for each integration being validated.
c. Coordinates with Tier-2 to provide seamless support to users.
d. Monitors production integration; makes recommendations for ongoing efficiencies and/or improvements.
Requires a self-motivated, team-player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively prioritize in a fast-moving environment. Requires close attention to detail. Knowledge of full project/process lifecycles as well as systems design experience. Experience with MS Office Suite, SAP, and related product environments.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
