Position: Business Development Manager

Company: A leading international supplier of high-performance plastic compounds and resins, used in a variety of different markets. The company has been around for over 85 years and employs approximately 3,000 people and has over 30 manufacturing & support facilities.

Position: The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for profitable and sustainable business development of Thermoplastics(Nylon, PBT, PP, Styrenics and polymer blends). Growing new sales and managing current customers with new and existing products. You are the technical link between the Sales Account Manages, R&D and Product Managers. Customers are mostly automotive, building & construction and lawn & garden.

Technical Center located around the Cleveland-Akron-Canton,Ohio area
Your unique role with the company:
Identify, research, and validate business development opportunities in alignment with the Distribution business unit strategy.
Effectively demonstrate the ASI value proposition and product offerings.
Work directly with customers to clarify technical and commercial requirements for new business and suggest suitable products.
Maintain a funnel of sales opportunities and develop a scope-of-work requirements and timeline for each business development.
Manage assigned projects with Account Managers and R&D to drive new business and product developments
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Plastics/Polymer Engineering or related field; equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Sales and Technical experience in plastics industry and thermoplastic materials
Basic technical knowledge associated with engineering, chemistry, laboratory testing, polymers, etc.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, and presentation ability
Ability to travel 2-3 day per week.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
