We're a very busy and growing global generics manufacturing company. We're now focusing our worldwide research and development activities for generic injectable products into this particular facility and we need your help!
While we currently operate development facilities in a number of countries across the globe, we're dedicated to establishing this particular Midwestern facility as our Global Center of Excellence for Development.
Our current R&D group comprises two individual teams of 10-15 individuals. We have a leadership position open for one of these teams, and we require a leader of your caliber to fill that role.
Across our corporate universe, this group will be viewed as The Experts in routine matters like method development and validation, and formulation development. We'll also be go-to subject matter experts for more esoteric and cutting-edge things like:
elemental impurities, leachables, and glass delamination some of the more challenging issues in the industry. We have a real opportunity to set the standard in resolving those issues across the company!

What Will We Expect From You?
Lead a team of generic injectable R&D staff and review technical documents.
Review and assess active pharmaceutical technical packages.
Perform development studies in support of formulation development, evaluate data generated from formulation studies, recommend critical processing parameters, manufacturing processes and proposed specifications.
What Will You Need to 'Bring to the Table?'
Ph.D. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
10
years generic injectable pharma industry experience, including analytical, product development, commercialization, and troubleshooting experience.
5
years proven formal R&D leadership experience.
Solid understanding of QbD.
Fluency in FDA filing and ICH requirements.
We need someone who will be ready to hit the ground running.
