Product Manager

We are currently looking for a motivated, proactive Product Manager to join our team. This position would be responsible for developing the overall strategic marketing program for products including coordinating all product development activities with divisions within the US and abroad. These activities include but not limited to, new product evaluation and expansion, pricing, forecasting, competitive analysis, research and development, cross functional coordination, presentations and involvement with promotions. Works as part of a lean cross functional team.

Key Responsibilities Include, but not limited to:
Strategic Product Category Leadership
o Establishes strategies and tactical plans for each product. Recommends new product functional specification, pricing, appearance, technology platform, target market, cost target and marketing plan.
o Recommends criteria to be used in ideas / product programs for evaluating market potential and practicality.
o Interfaces with the sales department to establish basic product and channel selling strategies.
o Works with marketing, to effectively communicate the direction for product positioning message, advertising plans, promotions, and support materials.
o Establishes, under direction of leadership team, annual financial goals including sales, gross margin, market share, price and mix of product line. Monitors actual results and tracks progress toward goal attainment. Drives corrective actions to improve results and realize business commitments
Analysis & Market Research
o Participates in business cases & ROI analysis for new product programs. Drives data gathering
o Monitors current and new technologies and reports out to leadership.
o Monitors competitive activity and product line positioning. Understands competitive product offerings, features, benefits and competitive advantage
o Coordinates market research activities to maintain a deep understanding of consumer needs and trends. Is in frequent contact with consumers and retailers. Translates this understanding into products and feature innovations and enhancements.
Team Collaboration
o Works closely with project leaders in coordinating product line activities between technology and software development, warehouse management, engineering, manufacturing, sales, marketing and finance.
o Ensure that the core brand values are followed throughout the product development process and life cycle.

Education Requirements:
o Bachelors Degree in a related field required; MBA a plus.

Job Related Experience/Skills:
o Minimum 1-2 year experience in product management and development of relevant consumer products (i.e. OEM, OPP, etc).
o Experience in alternate disciplines, such as retail marketing, advertising campaigns, national media strategies, e-commerce, engineering, product support or sales is preferred.
o Working knowledge of production schedules, how to create an effective product launch brief.
o Must be adaptable with ability and willingness to efficiently manage multiple priorities and business demands that continuously shift in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
o Strong strategic thinking with the ability to lead development of effective tactics.
o Strong business acumen with demonstrated financial analysis ability required.
o Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively lead/facilitate teams. Able to work effectively with internal and external resources.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills including effective presentation skills, one-on-one communication, creative writing, technical writing and report writing.
o Demonstrated project management skills. Organized. Attention to detail. Results-oriented. Working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Power Point and Excel.
o Team player with an entrepreneurial drive and high integrity; Positive attitude and ability to motivate and energize others.
o Must be willing and able to work outside of regular business hours, including nights and weekends.


Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
