Job Description:
This position is responsible for day-to-day security administration tasks on all infrastructure platforms that are centrally supported by the corporate IT organization. Primary platforms include, but are not limited to: SAP ERP platform, z/OS Mainframe Top Secret/IDMS/CICS, Microsoft Windows/ADS, AIX Unix, ERP platform, JDA MMS and Enterprise Planning platforms, IBM LDAP, and various RDBMS.
In addition to primary security administration responsibilities, this role is also responsible for the identification and implementation of optimizations that drive continuous improvement and productivity around security administration across the administration team. This role is responsible for maintaining the security administration documentation repository, and is the primary liaison for Sarbanes-Oxley and other security compliance demands of the corporation.
The successful candidate for this role requires a broad technical background of a wide breath of client security area, SAP security principles along with strong hands on experience, strong interpersonal skills and problem solving abilities. This individual must be familiar with security best practices as it relates to both the implementation and ongoing operations of an enterprise landscape.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
Responsible for day-to-day security configuration tasks and user administration throughout all project lifecycles and production support.
This position will be responsible for executing day-to-day tasks to include creating, deleting, disabling, enabling, unlocking and modifying user accounts, permissions and access rights in multiple technical platforms, including, but not limited to: MS Active Directory, IBM TAM/TDS LDAP, UNIX, Mainframe, MS Exchange, and client specific applications.
Design, creates and maintains SAP user accounts, passwords, security profiles, roles and role assignments to positions in SAP landscapes.
Perform functional security configuration and maintenance tasks for SAP ECC, BI, Portal, Solution Manager, GRC Access Controls systems and SAP NetWeaver Identity management
Works closely with Human Resources, business managers and IT security to develop and assign appropriate levels of access to SAP users
Prioritizes and provides resolution for security support and authorization issues in compliance with IT service level agreements
Validates security group and procedures. Provides guidance with IT security procedures development.
Monitors for potential security policy violations and report to IT management with recommended corrective actions.
Reviews roles and change requests for completeness recommend changes to improve overall SAP application security.
Conducts periodic license audits to ensure compliance with SAP licensing contract
Create and maintain documentation of all relevant security specifications, systems, and procedures
Work with Internal Audit & Compliance teams to facilitate strong controls around user access and usage of the system as appropriate and to ensure the SAP applications and other open systems are secured as per organizational company security policies and procedures.
Assist team in working with the business and project teams in developing functional specifications related to security concerns
Require to provide on call support and execute maintenance activities during both business hours and off business hours.
Assist management to provide security direction and decision-making guidance to drive project and production support efforts
Manage open requests and issues to ensure all work is delivered on time and with high quality
Perform security design and engineering for new solutions and the implementation of those solutions
Champion process, documentation and operational improvements and best practices
Provide 24 x 7 support for both planned an d unplanned activities to minimize disruption to the business
Work closely with management to create effective developmental plans for the security analysts to continually improve the group's collective skillset and knowledge
To build strong relationships with other key areas including network, server, desktop, and applications to drive efficiencies across multiple teams
Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED LENGTH & TYPE OF
Experience:
Minimum 5 years in a large, enterprise client-server environment
Experience administering UNIX and Windows security is required.
This position requires 3-5 years related experience with knowledge of SAP with an emphasis on Security, including solution manager, HMC, GRC, BI, ECC and IDM
Must have a strong background and detailed understanding of managing a Microsoft Active Directory Forest with Parent/Child Domains and IBM TDS LDAP
Must have a strong understand of windows Share permissions, NTFS permissions and Active Directory group memberships
Mainframe security administration experience is highly desirable.
Planning, implementation and ongoing support of security environment in multi-site organization

Experience of executing SAP project using structured approach and best practices is a must
Intermediate knowledge of Windows Active Directory and Windows server security administration
Intermediate knowledge of AIX UNIX security administration
Intermediate knowledge of IDM TAM/TDS LDAP security administration
Intermediate knowledge of email administration with Exchange 2010
Knowledge of SAP NetWeaver Identity management is a big plus
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE:
