Scheduling and Purchasing Planner


Primary Functions and
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the planning and completion of the designated production, inventory control, scheduling and purchasing duties of the Manufacturing Department. Responsible for the completion general purchasing duties of the company under the direction of the designated supervisor, as assigned.

General:
o Manage and/or assist in departmental and corporate tasks as directed by their supervisor.
o Maintain and upgrade departmental systems as required.
o Responsible for active participation in departmental efforts to establish and maintain an on-going efficient, professional, cohesive and pleasant work environment.
o Review and follow all requirements as defined by the company Quality Management System.

Travel Requirements:
Generally ten percent or less as directed by supervisor.
Performance Evaluation:
To be administered by supervisor on an annual basis.
Minimum Employment Requirements:
Education / Training /
Experience:
High school graduate.
Some post-secondary education.
Three years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
Knowledge of manufacturing production and inventory control methods and practices.
Knowledge of purchasing methods and practices
Required Work Skills:
Must have advanced computer and standard office software skills
$10-$12/hr. Temporary with potential for permanent.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
