My client is seeking a sheet metal Designer experienced in Sheet Metal layout and design with a background in customization per client specifications.
Responsibilities
Create designs for wall mount enclosures, free standing enclosures and double door sheet Metal and carbon steel enclosures
Analyzing Customer designs and specifications
Utilizing AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drafting and design projects
Creating and communicating fabrication designs to production team in English in a clear and comprehensive manner
Create designs according standards - UL, NEMS, NEC etc.
Interact daily with team members, management and clients
Requirements
Associate or Bachelor Degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design, Mechanical Engineering or related field of study
Hands-on experience designing NEMA-4 style sheet metal enclosures
Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD - 2D and 3D experience highly preferred and desired
Experience testing/troubleshooting the enclosures
Motivated with a positive attitude and able to work in a team environment
The ideal candidate will be passionate to design and possess an inventor attitude and desire.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
