BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

OnDemand Energy, one of the largest Energy Consultants in the Mid-Atlantic (PJM) region, is seeking exceptional sales talent to join our Energy Procurement Sales Consulting Team for the Greater Cleveland area. The individual in this position is responsible for selling electricity and natural gas procurement services to commercial and industrial (C&I) prospects, and also must work collaboratively with our Ohio Affinity Partner, COSE, to drive sales growth throughout Ohio.
For this position, we are seeking aggressive, self-confident, self-motivated individuals with a strong customer focus and the ability to relate well to people at all organizational levels. The successful candidate must demonstrate flexibility and the ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities. Strong oral, written, verbal and presentation skills are required along with the ability to effectively position OnDemand's energy procurement services and value proposition within the context of customer's business.
KEY DUTIES &
Responsibilities:
Identifies prospects and develops contacts with high-level decision in potential customer organizations.
Develops energy procurement plans and strategies for customers, prepares and gives sales presentations and closes sales transactions in accordance with company best practices
Utilize existing Partner network relationships and build new relationships to secure contracts with Commercial and Industrial owner/operators
Develops and maintains an understanding of each customer's business objectives and price risk tolerances
Collaborates with customers and internal OnDemand resources to develop energy hedging strategies that match customer needs.
Will either close energy supply contracts individually or work with ODE Sales Management to effectively screen sales opportunities to determine appropriate Sales approach for best opportunity to Win business.
Attend COSE and Chamber Partner, events to act as a face for the COSE energy program and to prospect for new energy procurement program participants.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree

years of solid sales performance with a focus on new business development in B2B space
Preferred relevant energy procurement industry experience
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Professional demeanor and presentation of self with an outgoing personality.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Package (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) and Microsoft Outlook.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
