We're a very busy and growing global generics manufacturing company. We're now focusing our worldwide research and development activities for generic injectable products into this particular facility and we need your help!
While we currently operate development facilities in a number of countries across the globe, we're dedicated to establishing this particular Midwestern facility as our Global Center of Excellence for Development.
Our current R&D group comprises two individual teams of 10-15 individuals. We have a mentorship position - Senior Analytical Scientist - open for one of these teams, and we require a seasoned expert of your caliber to fill that role. In this role, you will be mentoring 6-8 fellow team members.
Across our corporate universe, this group will be viewed as The Experts in routine matters like method development and validation, and formulation development. We'll also be go-to subject matter experts for more esoteric and cutting-edge things like:
elemental impurities, leachables, and glass delamination some of the more challenging issues in the industry. We have a real opportunity to set the standard in resolving those issues across the company!

What Will We Expect From You?
Train and mentor 6-8 laboratory personnel.
Analytical development for drug product development projects.
Design analytical control strategies for sterile, parenteral manufacturing processes.
Share responsibility for team technical decision-making for analytical issues.
Develop and track project timelines.
Design and execute complex non-routine analytical experiments (up to 40% of total workload).
What Will You Need to 'Bring to the Table?'
Ph.D. or MS in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmaceutical Sciences.
9
years generic injectable pharma industry experience, including analytical, product development, commercialization, and troubleshooting experience.
Experience supporting and training technical staff.
5 years formulations experience.
Solid understanding of QbD.
Working knowledge of ANDA and 505(b)(2) filings.
We need someone who will be ready to hit the ground running.
