PLANT MANAGER

Summary: The Plant Manager directs and coordinates the activities of the plant with overall responsibility for planning, production, productivity, quality, inventory, control, and labor relations within the facility. Additionally, the Plant Manager provides coaching and direction to the Operations Supervisors to insure targets are met.
Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment for all associates.
Initiates and manages all environmental permits to comply with state and federal government regulations and requirements.
Responsible for training and development of direct reports.
Manages departmental budget, costs and expenditures.
Responsible for performing in-house ISO audit functions.
Reviews and recommends production schedules and work orders.
Ensures on-time delivery of customer orders; analyzes inventory levels to assure on-time shipments.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
