Job Description
- Responsible for the production and planning of up to 25 employees over 2 shifts in an union packaging facility
- Train employees, ensure facility safety, and oversee the inventory audits
- Communicate with other departments regarding quality
- Approve employee hours, enforce workplace policies, and recommend disciplinary action
Key Requirements
- Knowledge of OSHA, SQF, and other safety regulations and guidelines
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required, preferably concentrated in mechanical or electrical studies
- Prior supervisory and leadership experience in an union manufacturing facility
- Lean manufacturing experience and skills
