- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for Medicare products including direct mail, online marketing, traditional media and OOH
- Develop and execute a member retention strategy focused on Medicare members
- Manage all post-enrollment materials for Medicare members
- Develop and execute strategic marketing plans for other lines of business as necessary
- Manage Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) compliance for all Medicare marketing materials.
- Manages multi-channel marketing initiatives from development to execution and tracking, ensuring goals are established and met.
- Supervises staff and mentors/coaches as needed.
Sets goals and objectives for team members.
Manages cross-functional projects teams as necessary. - Manages writing, editing and design efforts of marketing materials maintaining consistency in message and corporate branding.
- Manages vendor relationships as needed for research, production and other services.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related field.
- 7 years progressive experience as a Segment Marketing Specialist or equivalent experience in marketing or related field, preferably in the health insurance or financial services industries.
- Experience in Medicare marketing is preferred.
- Knowledge of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Marketing Guidelines and compliance requirements preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and the ability to apply advanced marketing communication concepts and best practices.
- Excellent writing skills with a demonstrated command of grammar, spelling and sentence structure.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Knowledge of print and multimedia production.
