Artistic Planning Coordinator

The Cleveland Orchestra has an opening for a Coordinator in its Artistic Operations Department.
The Artistic Planning Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all guest conductors and guest artists scheduled to perform with The Cleveland Orchestra, having primary responsibility for managing their travel, itinerary, payments, and rehearsal/performance schedules.

The successful candidate will meet the following
Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or 3
    years of related senior level administrative experience required;
  • Experience in musical environment and strong familiarity with classical music preferred;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, knowledge of databases ie ArtsVision, Tessitura highly desirable;
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Demonstrated independent, judgment;
  • Ability to consistently maintain a professional image and demeanor;
  • Strong problem-solving skills combined with a collaborative approach;
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member;
  • Ability to successfully prioritize to manage multiple projects and deadlines;
  • Must be able to travel between Severance Hall and Blossom Music Center and some local or regional meetings and events;
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and some holidays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
