Full Stack Systems Engineer Position Description CGI Federal, a leader in providing IT and business process outsourcing services to the affordable housing industry throughout the US, has an opening for a Senior Full Stack Systems Engineer. This role will provide physical data center support expertise and be actively involved in AWS cloud migrations for both legacy applications and modern Web Services. Your future duties and responsibilities - Provide direct support of all local data center installations - Design and execute initial cloud (AWS) migrations and provide continuing support thereafter - Identify/suggest methods to automate processes to produce greater efficiencies - Provide leadership and share knowledge with junior staff on an on-going basis - Research evolving IT technologies that pertain enterprise systems - Follow up with internal/external clients to ensure expectations are met within predetermined time frames Required qualifications to be successful in this role - Solid background in TCP/IP storage connectivity as well as WAN/LAN in an Application Service Delivery model - Adept at hypervisor administration, SAN/NAS, and blade server technologies - Must have production experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including Core Services - Familiar with DevOps tools, Infrastructure as Code methodologies, and be capable of writing scripts via Python, Ruby, JSON - Working knowledge of Microsoft Server and Active Directory, as well as Linux server management - Knowledge of CCNA, CCNP, MCSE, Citrix, Chef, Puppet, Vault, Terraform is highly desired - Bachelor degree in STEM discipline is required, but equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree At CGI, we're a team of builders.
