Job Description
- Run automation projects from design through to completion
- Program PLCs, HMIs (Allen Bradley), and robotics (ABB) on machine and plant production equipment for steel, continuous casting, forging, and extrusion facilities
- Travel 20-30% to assist with the commissioning and troubleshooting of equipment
Key Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology is required
- Ability, mentality, and attitude to run, and take ownership of, automation projects
- Ability to program PLCs and HMIs - prior Allen Bradley experience is required!
- Experience with programming robotics using ABB, Motoman, or Fanuc
- Prior experience designing with AutoCAD
- Prior experience commissioning projects at client sites
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 20-30% for position
