Business Development Coordinator

Summary:
The Acute Rehabilitation Business Development Coordinator is primarily responsible for building and maintaining census for the Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation service, and secondarily for Home Health and Hospice; through implementation of a service marketing plan and application of sales techniques. The Acute Rehabilitation Business Development Coordinator will participate in regular responsibilities including; marketing plan development, inside Southwest General Health Center sales responsibilities, outside sales responsibilities, lead promotional activities, inquiry follow-up activities, as well as, evaluation of patient admission process and facility readiness to accept identified patients.

Education:
College degree preferred or licensed Registered Nurse
Required Length and Type of
Experience:
Three (3) years of work sales experience in health care services, products or pharmaceuticals. Familiarity with inpatient acute rehabilitation programs, and with home health and hospice services. Prior clinical experience desirable with stroke, brain injury, amputation, or similar acute rehabilitation populations, preferably in a medical setting. Direct experience working in rehabilitation, hospice or home health settings preferred.
