Production Scheduler

Eaton's Hydraulics Group is currently seeking a Production Scheduler. The Production Scheduler will be based out of our located in Brooklyn, OH facility.
Position Overview :
This position is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the flow of work within or between departments to expedite production and for managing the day-to-day shipping for the Brooklyn, OH facility. Reviews master production schedule and work orders, establishes priorities for specific customer orders, and revises schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capability of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment. In support of transportation and logistics, provide reliable material delivery systems at the lowest total cost while supporting Lean and Global Sourcing initiatives.
Essential Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain daily production schedules for one or more manufacturing cells, using Kanban and work center load analysis to create even volume of work.
Promote and sustain an atmosphere of cooperative partnership and alignment between Corporate Logistics, Corporate Transportation, providers, employees and customers through ongoing communication, sharing of ideas and continuous process improvement.
Maintain ownership of work order population, effectively communicate and act on upcoming, past due and non-intact work orders.
Maintain the activities of logistics providers to insure compliance and alignment with group/operational requirements and contractual obligations. Utilize relevant performance indicators to support continuous improvement throughout the material delivery process.
Track transportation savings and meet all logistic and productivity objectives.
Collaborate with Buyers to project material availability and create constrained build plans based on promise dates of outside supply and plant capacity.
Demonstrate high levels of engagement with Production Supervisors, including attending Tier meetings and participating in continuous improvement activities.
Monitor inventory transactions to assure material is being processed in an accurate and timely manner. Identify and communicate potential delays and/or problems to internal customers which may impede finished goods delivery.
Minimize manufacturing shortages and inventory investment while meeting commitments to customer orders, in support with the plant objectives and goals.
Manage rejected materials from Customers, suppliers and feeder cells which impact the work orders of the cell(s).
Leads and participates in Lean Planning efforts to tightly align supply to demand throughout the plant, focusing on work order integrity, production center load, finite schedule attainment, and WIP inventory reduction.
Analyzes data, including enterprise requirements planning information (material, work order, work center, inventory, forecast) and prepares consolidated managerial reports as needed to facilitate and recommend actions to improve plant/product line supply chain execution.
Supports and leads actions necessary to attain SIOP maturity, such as data collection, demand evaluation, fulfillment measurement and integration assessment.
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing, operations and/or supply chain.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within a 50 mile radius of the Brooklyn, OH facility will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field from and accredited university.
CPIM Certification
Position Criteria :
Knowledge of materials planning systems (MRP/ERP) requirements and order generation process logic.
Thorough understanding of Materials Management operational concepts surrounding production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory control and logistics.
Detailed knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction (Six Sigma) concepts and tool sets as they relate to materials management.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
