Experience using computer modeling or analytical applications to accomplish projects, designs, and plans; experience performing and interpreting analyses and computations for unknown factors to define relationships factually ORCompletion of all requirements for a master's or equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate field ORCompletion of 2 full academic years of graduate education in an appropriate field ORAn equivalent combination of experience and graduate study as described above.To Qualify for the GS-11:
Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-9), includes experience such as:
Experience applying engineering concepts, principles, and practices with emphasis in electrical engineering and communication theory including signal processing concepts, time domain/frequency domain representation of signals and systems, and modulation and coding techniques. ORCompletion of all requirements for a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in an appropriate field;ORCompletion of three full academic years of graduate education in an appropriate field;ORAn equivalent combination of experience and graduate education described above.To Qualify for the GS-12:
Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-11), includes experience such as:
Experience performing work involving the analysis and assessment, via modeling and simulation, of communications, navigation, and remote sensing systems in the space, aeronautical, and terrestrial radio communication environment. Experience applying engineering concepts, principles, and practices with emphasis in electrical engineering and communication theory including signal processing concepts, time domain/frequency domain representation of signals and systems, and modulation and coding techniques. Experience providing analyses and conducting mathematical and computer modeling techniques. To Qualify for the GS-13:
Specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade (GS-12), includes experience such as:
Experience performing development work involving the analysis and assessment, via modeling and simulation, of advanced communications, navigation, and remote sensing systems in the space, aeronautical, and terrestrial radio communication environment. Experience applying engineering concepts, principles, and practices with emphasis in electrical engineering and communication theory including signal processing concepts, time domain/frequency domain representation of signals and systems, and modulation and coding techniques. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
